Don't Be A Hater

Research shows that grudge-holders have higher blood pressure and more anxiety. Here's how to forgive and move on.
  • Feel the pain: Don't hold in your feelings, vent to a neutral party or write it down somewhere.
  • Trade places: Try to see your friend's point of view. Even if you don't agree with what she did, maybe you can at least understand why she did it.
  • Confront them: Tell your friend how their actions made you feel. It'll give them the perfect opportunity to apologize.
  • Make peace: Forgiving doesn't mean forgetting, it means that your friendship is more important than your grudge.
