The Apartment

Academy Award Winner for Best Picture, this 1960 film tells the story of a man (Jack Lemmon) who tries to rise in his company by letting its executives use his apartment for trysts, but complications and a romance with a fetching elevator operator (Shirley MacLaine) of his own ensue.
